St Ives Bay Holiday Park
73 Loggans Road, Upton Towans, Hayle, Cornwall, TR27 5BH
Set in undulating sand dunes running down to a magnificent sandy three mile long beach. The park looks out over St Ives Bay with St Ives to the left and Godrevy lighthouse to the right.
Stunning St Ives Bay Holiday Park is set in sand dunes, with private access to a three-mile sandy beach. The park offers a huge choice of caravans, chalets, camping pitches, and camping pods. The beach has an RNLI lifeguard station in front of the park which operates from Whit to the August bank holiday.
There is an independent surf school operating from the park. There are two bars on site. One offers a range of entertainment for adults and children whilst the other is a quieter sea view bar, incorporating the 'Bay Bistro' with good food at reasonable prices. The large indoor pool is part of the same complex.
Many caravans and chalets have been substantially upgraded in recent years, and the caravans now include many wooden lodge style units which are more comfortable than traditional caravans. St Ives is across the bay, and is a six mile drive. The park is less than one kilometre from the A30 and so is an ideal base for exploring Cornwall.
St Ives Bay Holiday Park is a family business run for families and couples. They do not accept bookings from same-sex groups or similar parties, such as Stag/Hen parties. They do not accept pets, except for guide or assistance dogs by arrangement. There is a wealth of information and pictures about the site on Facebook, and on Tripadvisor.
On site you can enjoy:
- Free entertainment
- Access to indoor swimming pool
- Park shop
- Bay Bistro
- 2 licenced bars
- Serviced, Electric Hook-up and Standard Pitches
- Shore Surf School
- Free shower, toilet and wash up facilities
