Cornish touring park launches new self-catering property in St Ives

Family-owned Polmanter Touring Park in St Ives, Cornwall has unveiled a third property in its luxury self catering portfolio – Morwenna Cottage.

Ideal for if you want to go away with family or friends, but you want to pitch up on site and other members of the holiday party prefer self-catering accommodation!

Launched in August, Morwenna is a former chapel that has been renovated into a modern, cosy space with countryside views to accommodate up to 6 people. It boasts two en-suite bedrooms and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with landscaped garden and hot tub. The property also features a 7kW electric car charging station on the driveaway – a rarity among holiday homes in Cornwall, and up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. For smaller groups the two apaertments, Kerenza and Demelza, are the perfect getaways for 2-4 people.

Located at the entrance of the touring site in Halestown, guests of Morwenna Cottage get access to everything five-star Polmanter has to offer in its camping season – from the bar and restaurant, tennis courts and outdoor heated pool to indoor soft play, treatment rooms and a bus service into St Ives town.

Rebecca Osborne, co-owner of Polmanter Touring Park, said: “We are so excited to finally share Morwenna with our guests after what has been a challenging, yet exciting project. No doubt there have been delays because of COVID but we have worked around them and are so pleased to start welcoming guests, albeit with stricter measures in place – from cleaning to check-in – to ensure everyone’s safety.”
