Dorset park is perfect for walkers and wildlife
Set in 26 acres on the Devon/Dorset border, Monkton Wyld Holiday Park is a countryside site, just three miles from the coast, Lyme Regis and Charmouth.
With thousands of acres of woodland, some adjacent to the site, local bluebell woods, and open spaces where you are free to roam just a couple of miles from the park, Monkton Wyld is the ideal choice for anyone who wants to don their walking boots and head out into all that Dorset beauty.
The site has a variety of walking maps that guests can use, and also information on cycle routes for those who prefer to explore on two wheels. And don't worry if you forget your bikes or don't have room to bring them with you, as Monkton Wyld offer electric bike hire, too.
Younger guests haven't been forgotten either. The site owners currently have plans afoot to create a children’s nature station. This will include photographs of birds and butterflies professionally photographed on the park, a bird feeding station, and informal talks aimed at encouraging children to become engaged with the world that surrounds them.
