Go wild at Crickley Hill

Crickley Hill is a prominent spur of the Cotswold escarpment. It overlooks the Severn Vale, with magnificent views towards Robinswood Hill and May Hill, and the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountain beyond.

Over July and August the Gloustershire Wildlife Trust have arranged a couple of events at Crickley Hill for both adults and kids:

Go Wild! at Crickley Hill: Sun, 22/07/2018 - 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Face painting and welly wanging are just some of the activites for you to experience at this family-friendly event.

Summer Wildlife Trail: Sat, 28/07/2018 (All day) - Sun, 02/09/2018 (All day)
Explore Crickley Hill on this self-guided trail with the help of your trail sheet, You can pick up a trail sheet from the Crickley Hill Cafe. Aimed at children aged 4 - 11 years old.

Bushcraft for Families with Paul Rose: Fri, 17/08/2018 - 10:30am - 2:30pm
Learn bushcraft skills together as a family learning things like fire lighting and basic wood-carving, with the chance to take your creations home with you. Each booking is for one child and an accompanying adult. Suitable for children aged 10+

Night-time Nature Safari for families:  Wed, 08/08/2018 - 8:30pm - 10:30pm
Keep an eye (and ear) out for Crickley Hill’s nightly creatures during this night-time walk. Detect bats, look for glow worms and then warm up with a hot drink. Suitable for anyone aged 10+
