Carrying on our 'Site History' series, this month we spoke with the owners of Dornafield Caravan Park near Newton Abbot in Devon and asked about the history of the site. On arrival, the entrance to the site is a fine example of a Grade II traditional Devon longhouse and Dornafield has an interesting tale to tell, including once being besieged by irate Roundheads in the Civil War!
