The Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust is arranging an animal experience for the whole family at the Nature Discovery Centre in Thatsham, Berkshire on 25 July. (Children attending must be aged 3+)

The animals set to be brought along are for your enjoyment and also for educational purposes and will include:
Meerkats, a hit with all ages
African Hedgehogs, quite distinct from those found in this country
Gambian Pouch Rats, these are used for sniffing out landmines, and  areable to identify someone infected with tuberculosis purely by scent.
An African Grey Parrot: "Georgie" the most intelligent of parrots, and with an extensive vocabulary!
Sugargliders, similar to miniature flying mice
An Umbrella Cockatoo, a bird with real attitude!
(Please note: this list may vary slightly).
Sessions will run from 10am, and do require booking.

You don't have to live nearby to take advantage of the rare opportunity to see these animals up close. You could stay nearby at Lincoln Farm Park and make holiday memories in the heart of stunning Oxfordshire
