Spotlight on: Bryn Gloch Caravan & Camping Park

09/07/2020

Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed about this site was its stunning surroundings – lots of rolling hillsides, which make for the best views from the pitches.

With a location at the foot of Snowdon, Bryn Gloch is perfect for anyone wanting to climb the mountain or take the train to the top, and for anyone who enjoys walking.

The River Gwyrfai borders the site and you can fish for free here. There’s a large open area by the river, which makes a great spot to relax in the sunshine and there are plenty of walking routes leading off site towards those beautiful hills.

The on-site facilities are just as impressive as the views. These include toilets and showers, a family bathroom, launderette, shop and off-licence. If you have young people in tow then there’s a games room, mini-golf and play areas to enjoy.

Pitches are hardstanding or grass and you can choose from just an electric pitch or upgrade to a super pitch with the addition of water and drainage, too.

Mount Snowdon is just 2½ miles away, offering mountain walking direct from the site and the coast is just six miles away and, if you don’t mind a bit of a drive, I’d highly recommend heading over either the Britannia or Menai Bridge to explore the Isle of Anglesey.
