The best open all year campsites

29/12/2021

Make the most of the touring season by taking a break away in winter or even over Christmas. Low season breaks can often be cheaper and attractions are quieter than in the main summer holidays. With heated facilities on site you'll still be all comfortable but you can get more holiday out of your year.

Our five favourite things about all-year holidays…
1. Enjoying seeing the autumnal colours, or hearing the crunch of frost beneath our feet, on a walk in the woodland
2. Waking up and wondering if there’ll be a blanket of snow outside on our pitch
3. More opportunities to enjoy time away throughout the year
4. Quieter attractions – seeing the top places, without the crowds
5. Starting a new year with a break away somewhere beautiful – a sure fire way to boost our mood

What you could do while staying on an all-year campsite…
• Wrap up warm, grab a flask of tea and take a walk in the countryside
• Celebrate Christmas or New Year somewhere totally different to usual
• Enjoy the fresh air and serenity of a deserted beach on a winter’s morning
• Stargaze from your pitch, a mug of hot chocolate in hand
• Explore Christmas markets, find unique gifts and get into the festive spirit
