The local blue flag beaches and seaside towns are close by. Dartmoor National park is a 30 minute drive. The park adjoins the Tarka Trail footpath and cycleway that links to the SW Coastal Path. The park welcomes pets with a large dog exercise paddock.

Many attractions nearby, National Trust sites and gardens in easy reach. RHS Rosemoor Garden 2 minutes down the road. Shopping in Great Torrington, with an arts centre and theatre or Bideford and Barnstaple.
