An award-winning park situated on the beautiful coastline of Dumfries and Galloway, with direct access to a secluded beach overlooking picturesque Wigtown Bay and only a short drive from the stunning Galloway Hills.
There are many ways to enjoy a holiday at Auchenlarie Holiday Park, with caravans, lodges, camping and touring.
With its indoor heated pool, sauna, arcade, daily entertainment, children’s indoor and outdoor play areas, Auchenlarie is the perfect base for a fun filled family holiday or a relaxing break away.
On site is the superb Rob n’ Roll Restaurant and Takeaway plus a choice of three different bars and a well stocked Premier convenience store. Alternatively you can simply relax in the comfort of your own holiday home and savour the superb sea views and beautiful scenery.
Some touring and tent pitches overlook the spectacular Solway Coast, others are alongside a burn with the remaining pitches having views to the distant hills. All pitches have electric, water hook-up and TV points, all included in the price with no extra charges for an awning, extra persons, cars, pets etc.
A range of holiday homes are available, either for multiples of seven night bookings, midweek or weekend short breaks. Bookings start from a Monday or a Friday, so weekend breaks can be accommodated even at the busiest times.
Auchenlarie is perfectly situated to explore the surrounding area, with the towns of Gatehouse of Fleet, Kirkcudbright, Newton Stewart and Castle Douglas all within a 20-minute drive from the park. The site is on the doorstep of the beautiful Galloway Forest Park! Why not try your hand at mountain biking or simply walk the trails and hills of this stunning area.

I took my daughters camping here. You need to go up a small hill and there are no trees to break the wind. Its by the coast so its very windy so absolutely no sleep. Had to leave a day early...
