Fishery Creek Touring Park is a tranquil oasis that runs parallel to a tidal creek connected to Langstone and Chichester Harbours, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A 10-minute stroll from the site leads you directly to the beach.
Amenities on site include The Galleon Cafe Bar and a tidal slipway which is a great place for all sorts of activities including swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, launching small boats and even crabbing and fishing for bass.
The park is a mixture of well-drained grassland and shingle pitches in varying sizes. Creek-front and lakeside prime pitches are hugely popular with fantastic views and clear boundaries that define your space. Every pitch is provided with electric hook-up and easy access to nearby water points.
Fishery Creek Park has been awarded the Gold David Bellamy Award for its passion for minimising its environmental impact and its enthusiasm for creating a wildlife-friendly park. The site benefits from being in a unique location and biodiversity is flourishing, so the aim is to keep it that way for future generations to enjoy.
There are plenty of walks directly accessible from the park, and Hayling Island’s award-winning Blue Flag Beach is only a short stroll away. Local shops, restaurants and pubs are all close by. Should you wish to explore further afield the historic coastal towns of Chichester, Portsmouth and Bournemouth can be easily reached by car, along with the New Forest and the South Downs.
On site you can enjoy:
- The Galleon Cafe Bar, offering takeaway and dining in
- Reception and shop
- Accessible shower block, clean and spacious toilet blocks
- Under cover dishwashing areas
- Children’s play area
- Private slipway
