Ratham House, Ratham Lane, West Ashling, Chichester, West Sussex, PO18 8DL
Multi award-winning luxury touring park in the heart of West Sussex, close to Goodwood and award-winning beaches. AA Campsite of the Year England & Overall Winner 2019
The Ratham Estate is situated in West Ashling, near Chichester. Steeped in history, it’s mentioned in the Doomsday Book and originates from the 15th century. A working farm until the 1990s, the estate has three Grade II listed properties on-site – a charming circular thatched chapel, the original water mill building and the farmhouse.
2015 saw the development of a luxury touring park on the estate. Concierge Camping now offers 27 spacious hardstanding pitches in a landscaped area, with hedging between pitches offering plenty of seclusion. All pitches are fully-serviced, with a 16A electrical supply, free WiFi, TV and satellite connection, and the touring park is spacious enough to accommodate large units such as American RVs. There are also unique Emperor Pitches with day-living safari tents on them, housing a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, sink unit, log burning stove and dining area. Luxury toilet and shower block with individual shower rooms, a laundry and indoor dishwashing area.
Guests have plenty to explore in the local area, with the famous Goodwood Estate close by. The cathedral city of Chichester is five miles away and the waterfront city of Portsmouth is just half an hour’s drive. For a more relaxed pace you can also head into the South Downs National Park, where a mixture of rolling downs and heathland, dramatic coastline and award-winning beaches provide a landscape that is ever-changing and stunningly beautiful at any time of year.
On site you can enjoy:
- Fully serviced pitches
- 16 amp electric
- Luxury toilet and shower block
- Individual shower suites
- A fully-equipped laundry
- Indoor dishwashing area
- Coffee shop
- Self-contained safari-style lodges for a luxury glamping experience
