Holme Valley Caravan & Camping Park

Thongsbridge, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, HD9 7TD

Family friendly Close to the Pennine Way Fishing lake

A very popular campsite with lots of pitches set on the outskirts of Holmfirth where the popular television series ‘Last Of The Summer Wine’ was filmed.

Set in a sheltered, wooded valley with a central fishing lake, Holme Valley offers a peaceful retreat in the grounds of a former woollen mill. Open year-round (closing only briefly over Christmas), it's perfect for a getaway in any season. The site is award-winning and very environmentally aware.

Holme Valley features hardstanding and grass pitches with electric hook-up, plus non-electric pitches in a spacious field. Glamping units are also available. Facilities include two heated toilet and shower blocks with disabled access, washing-up areas, a laundry room, and a licensed shop with eco-friendly refill options.

Children will love the adventure golf and off-road Crazi-Bugz on a woodland track, while the River Holme provides safe spots for paddling. The site is dog-friendly and just a five-minute walk from the local village and pub.

Located on the edge of the Peak District and close to the Pennine Way, Holme Valley is ideal for walking, with scenic trails throughout the surrounding hills and valley.
