Andrewshayes Holiday Park celebrated in Devon Tourism Awards
07/01/2026
Andrewshayes Holiday Park, an East Devon campsite that has been helping its guests to create unforgettable memories for nearly 90 years, has been celebrated in the most recent Devon Tourism Awards.
It won the Silver Award in the Holiday Park of the Year category for 2025.
The Devon Tourism Awards are independently judged and assess every aspect of a business’s performance, including digital presence, guest feedback, operational improvements, and long-term development planning. Andrewshayes’ success highlights the park’s ongoing commitment to reinvestment, service enhancement, and responsiveness to customer needs.
A fourth-generation, family-run business, Andrewshayes continues to build on its heritage while embracing new perspectives. In June, the Lawrence family celebrated the wedding of Josh Lawrence - who, along with his wife Grace, has joined the management team. Their involvement is bringing renewed energy, innovation and forward-thinking to both day-to-day operations and future planning.
Looking ahead, Andrewshayes will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2026. The park traces its origins to 1936, when the Lawrence family first obtained a Public Health Licence - placing Andrewshayes among the oldest formally established holiday parks in the UK. The milestone will be marked with celebrations and continued investment in guest experience.
