Cornwall Premier Park presented with Campsite of the Year award

In April Iain Duff, editor of Camping magazine, headed down to Cornwall to visit some of our Premier Parks campsites and during his trip he also had the pleasure of presenting the team at Trevornick Holiday Park with their Campsite of the Year award.

The Camping Awards are the most prestigious and important in the UK family camping market. The awards honour all the best tents of the year, the best camping gear and accessories, and the public are also asked to choose their favourite campsite.

No one knows more about camping than campers, so they voted, and the campsite that came out on top was Cornwall's Trevornick Holiday Park, within walking distance of Holywell Bay and close to Newquay.

The campsite has seven touring and camping fields and six different pitch types. Some pitches have lakeside views and there are both dog-friendly and dog-free pitching areas. Trevornick offers a range of things to do on site including a heated outdoor swimming pool, a Splash Zone, health spa, kids' club, golf course, fishing lakes and outdoor play area. There’s also a farm shop, a café and restaurant, a takeaway, a lounge bar and entertainment venue! For daytime fun, you can explore the nature trail, hire bikes or head to the beach. If you should decide that you want to venture a little further afield then Cornish attractions like Newquay, Padstow and the Eden Project are all worth a visit.
