How long have you been running your campsite?
We have been managing Manor Wood Country Caravan Park since 2003, bringing our vision of a welcoming and well-maintained campsite to life.

Tell us a little about your site and how it first began 
The park began as a small family project, aiming to offer a peaceful camping experience amidst nature. Over the years, we've expanded and enhanced the facilities, always prioritising the comfort and satisfaction of our guests.

What did you do before becoming the owners of this site?
Prior to running the park, we were involved in various roles that honed our skills in hospitality and customer service, providing a solid foundation for our current venture.

What made you want to own and run a campsite? 
Our love for the outdoors and desire to create a space where families and individuals can relax and enjoy nature inspired us to take the leap into campsite ownership.

What do you like most about being a campsite owner? 
The most rewarding aspect is seeing our guests return year after year, enjoying the improvements we've made and the peaceful environment we've cultivated.

What are the challenges? 
Managing a campsite comes with its challenges, such as maintaining facilities, accommodating varying weather conditions, and ensuring guest satisfaction. However, the positive feedback and repeat visits make it all worthwhile.

What is a typical day like for you? 
A typical day involves overseeing park operations, assisting guests with their needs, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of facilities, and continuously looking for ways to improve the guest experience.

What makes your site special to the guests who return every year? 
Our commitment to maintaining a peaceful, clean, and welcoming environment, combined with our personal touch and attention to detail, makes Manor Wood a special place for our guests.

What do you love about the region your site is based in? 
We cherish the beauty of the Cheshire countryside and the proximity to the Clwydian Hills. Local attractions like historic Chester and the scenic walking routes of North Wales offer guests a variety of activities to enjoy.

What do you like to do on a rare day off? 
On our rare days off, we enjoy exploring the local area, or simply relaxing.
