New high ropes course launched by Cofton Holidays

South Devon-based family holiday park, Cofton Holidays, has invested £80,000 in a new high ropes and skywalks course.

Sat eight metres above the ground, the Tree Top Adventure High Ropes Course features 16 different stations all set among the canopy of Cofton’s mature woodland.

The new attraction is open to visitors over the age of eight, with a minimum height of one metre and maximum weight of 120kg. The adrenaline-fuelled activity will involve being strapped into a harness and connected to the continuous aerial guide wire, before negotiating narrow tightropes, rickety bridges, a climbing wall, mega zip line and more.

Helen Scott, Director at Cofton Holidays, says, "We’re always looking to expand our appeal as an all year-round, all-weather destination. Having previously invested in our woodland adventure area and zip line for children, we wanted to go bigger and better so that the whole family could hit new highs together, delivering family fun for everyone!"

Cofton’s Tree Top Adventure High Ropes course costs £18 per person for a 45-minute session and must be pre-booked via the holiday park’s website. This latest development at Cofton follows on from the £200,000 investment in super pitches late in 2021, which was completed to cope with record demand.
