Polmanter Touring Park unveils luxury glamping safari tents

Recognised as an award-winning destination, Polmanter Touring Park in Cornwall has expanded its offering for the 2026 season with the addition of six high-end safari-style tents.

Positioned along the perimeter of the site, these glamping accommodations boast wide-reaching views over the Cornish countryside and out towards the coast. Visitors staying in the tents can also make full use of the park’s amenities, all conveniently located within walking distance of St Ives.

Each safari tent is equipped with real beds and can accommodate up to five people across two bedrooms. Guests are provided with fresh bedding, and each unit features its own deck area furnished for outdoor relaxation.

Inside, there’s an open-plan layout combining a lounge and kitchen space, complete with essentials such as an air fryer, microwave, kettle, and fridge. With cosy seating, WiFi access, and electricity throughout, the tents strike a balance between traditional camping and modern comfort.

To create more living space indoors, the tents don’t include private bathrooms; instead, heated washroom facilities are located just across from them on the park. Visitors also have access to a range of on-site amenities, including a heated outdoor swimming pool, children’s play area, bar and restaurant, as well as a shuttle service to nearby St Ives.

Dogs are welcome in the safari tents, and guests can book stays of three, four, or seven nights between May and September.
