Spotlight on: South Wales Touring Park - Llwynifan Farm

05/09/2023

If your preference for a holiday is somewhere among other adults, in a countryside location, and with great views, then Llwynifan Farm could be right up your street.

This small, adults-only site has easy access, being just one mile off the M4, but thanks to the many fields surrounding it, you’re pitched up in a tranquil oasis.

The 25 hardstanding pitches are arranged across three tiers – enabling each pitch to benefit from a view. There is electric hook-up to every pitch and some are fully serviced. There is a two-night minimum stay.

Llwynifan’s facilities include heated shower rooms, dishwashing, a motorhome waste point, a laundry room, and free site-wide WiFi.

Ideal for walkers and dog owners, there are a couple of local walks that can be done from the site. These lead through woods and Llangennech to the coast, where you can link up with the Millennium Coastal Path. If you’d prefer to drive then the coast is only 15 minutes away.

The local village, Llangennech, has a supermarket, a pub, several takeaways, a bus service and a train station. All of these services are between 15-30 minutes’ walk away.

We took a trip to nearby Llanelli so I could head to the beach. As the weather was kind to us, we also enjoyed lunch at St Elli’s Bay Bistro, Brasserie and Gelateria, followed by an alfresco ice cream. It’s conveniently located right on the beachfront with sea views.
