Just five miles from Weymouth, on Dorset's Heritage Coast, Bagwell Farm Touring Park came away with three awards at this year's Dorset Tourism Awards.

The park took Gold in the Resilience and Innovation category, Gold in the Future of Hospitality category and Bronze in the Camping & Caravanning Park of the Year category.

Now in its second year, the Future of Hospitality Award recognises businesses that are recruiting and developing hospitality stars of the future, providing clear and inspiring structured career paths in hospitality, while the Resilience and Innovation category recognises businesses within the tourism industry that have demonstrated great resilience and adaptation during a period of adversity.

Bagwell Farm will now be fast tracked into the South West Tourism Excellence Awards 2023.

After four months of judging, 53 trophies were presented at the 10th annual Dorset Tourism Awards ceremony which took place at the Tank Museum, Bovington, on Thursday 26 January.

Bagwell Farm's Park Manager, Karen Kennedy, said: “This is a real tribute to the hard work and dedication of our amazing team who work so hard to make Bagwell Farm a fabulous place to visit.

Deputy Park Manager Christina Guppy added: “The Future of Hospitality award really shows that tourism has become a truly positive and viable career choice."
