AA rating upgrade for Parkland Caravan, Camping & Glamping, in Devon

Following a recent AA inspection, adults-only campsite, Parkland Caravan, Camping & Glamping Site has been awarded a quality score of 95%, meaning that the site has been upgraded from five gold stars to five platinum stars.

After completing the assessment, the AA inspector said: 'A pleasure to return to Parkland Caravan and Camping Site and great to hear that business levels have been so strong. As always, improvements have been made since the last visit, all of which have augmented upon the existing strengths. The Cowshed is an excellent addition, good to hear it has been so successful with guests. The new reception has also improved the first impression and enhanced the arrival procedure. Pitches well maintained and toilet and shower facilities a great strength. Winter plans include the motorhome disposal point and en suite facilities for two pods. On the basis of improvements already made and those areas to be addressed over the winter, a classification at five stars is retained with platinum now appropriate and well deserved’.

Parkland is open all year and set within easy distance of the South West Coast Path, the market town of Kingsbridge, historic Dartmouth, plus Totnes and the popular resort of Salcombe.
