Second storage area to be opened for Dorset Premier Park

Monkton Wyld Holiday Park has carefully stored its visitors’ caravans for 30 years and is opening a second storage compound later this spring.

Storage at this award-winning Dorset holiday park can provide the following:

Storage is available at Monkton Wyld Holiday Park on an annual basis or for winter only. Annual storage runs for 365 days from when your unit first arrives. No public access is allowed in the secured storage compounds and the park gates are locked every night, with overnight parking provided separately should this be necessary.

The privately-owned holiday park is situated just three miles from both Lyme Regis and Charmouth, almost in the centre of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The local area has wonderful restaurants, country pubs, museums, art galleries and theatres. On site there is an extensive children’s play area and an indoor games room. Dogs are not forgotten, either. There is a dog walk within the park through the small wood, gently lit at night, together with a separate paddock where your pet can run free. For muddy paws there is a dog wash. Various food vans visit most nights and some call during high season to provide breakfasts as well.

The site is the proud recipient of Gold for Camping & Caravanning Park of the Year in both the Dorset Tourism Awards 2021/22 and the South West Tourism Excellence Awards 2021/22. For many years the park has held a David Bellamy Gold for conservation efforts and the shower blocks have consistently won the top accolade in the Loo of the Year Awards.
