Polmanter Touring Park in St Ives has won Gold for Camping and Caravanning Park of the Year at the Cornwall Tourism Awards.

Owners of the family run site, Phillip and Becki Osborne, accepted the top accolade at Truro Cathedral on Thursday 7 November for the 23rd annual awards ceremony.

Polmanter was commended for its range of five-star facilities and focus on customer service. The site's owners were also marked highly for ongoing investment in the site, which included its bar and restaurant renovation, continuing sustainable and conservation efforts, and enhanced facilities for dog owners.

Becki, co-owner of Polmanter Touring Park, said: “We are so excited, not only to win the Gold award for the Camping and Caravanning Park of the Year, but also to hear that we have been nominated for the national VisitEngland Tourism Awards for Excellence, which will be announced in 2025. The awards are such a testament to our amazing team, and we couldn’t be more proud of them all.

The Camping and Caravanning Park of the Year category also saw another Premier Park, Gwinear Camping and Fishing, in Newquay, awarded Silver.

Polmanter will add this accolade to its collection, including previous Gold wins in the Cornwall Tourism Awards in 2022/23 and 2020/21.
